We named our business "The Curious Bison" because the American Bison, Oklahoma's state animal, represents strength and resilience. Curiosity drives our creativity and inspires us to explore, travel, and create unique products.
What types of products do you offer?
We offer a variety of wood laser cut gifts and decor, including personalized items, home decor, ornaments, and more.
Do you do custom work?
We offer personalization on many of our products, but we do not take custom requests. However, we are always open to hearing new product ideas that align with our brand and mission.
Do you have a retail location?
Yes, you can visit our retail store located at 1102 S. Lewis Ave. in Tulsa Oklahoma to see our products in person.
Products
Why does my finished product have imperfections?
Each wood sheet is milled from large pieces of natural lumber. As a result, occasional imperfections such as knots, slight roughness, unique grain patterns, and color variations are common. These natural characteristics add to the uniqueness and charm of each piece.
Why is the engraving on my item lighter or darker than shown on your website?
The variation in engraving color is due to the natural wood grains in each wood sheet. Because our products are made from all-natural wood, the engraving can appear lighter or darker depending on the specific grain patterns. This ensures that each item is one of a kind and uniquely yours.
Are the patches made of real leather?
No, our patches are made of eco-friendly leatherette. (faux leather).
What type of wood do you use?
The type of wood we use varies by product. We primarily use baltic birch and maple, but some items may feature different types of wood. Each product listing specifies the type of wood used for that particular item.
How do I care for and maintain my wood products?
We recommend keeping wood products in a dry environment and occasionally wiping them with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and moisture.

Do you ship internationally?
No, we currently only ship within the United States of America.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Processing times are typically 3-5 business days, and shipping times vary based on the selected method and destination. An estimated delivery date will be provided at checkout. Please allow time for processing and shipping.
Please note that we do not offer refunds for shipping delays, as we have no control over the package once it is handed over to the shipping carrier. If you need your order by a specific date, please email us first so we can confirm if it's feasible.
Can I track my order?
Yes, once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
As items are custom-made, there is no return on any item(s). Please inspect your items upon delivery, if for some reason we have missed a problem, please email us at sales@thecuriousbison within three days of receipt for a replacement. After three days, no replacements will be given.
Replacements will not be given due to user input error, please double-check all spelling.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within three days with photos of the damage, and we will arrange for a replacement.
Retail Location
What are your store hours?
Our store is open Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-6pm, Sunday, 11am-2pm, and closed on Monday.

Do you offer in-store pickup for online orders?
Yes, you can select in-store pickup at checkout. We will notify you when your order is ready for pickup.
